We hope to teach her to be "soft" with the new baby, but we can already sense a bit of jealousy and competition between the two.

Oh, they'll be buds! Sylvie wasn't sure of Jake either. She was mad at me for bringing a baby home, but treated the baby just fine. You'll have to let me know how it goes :-)
