Mindy's bread

So, I was at my sister, Chantel's a couple of weeks ago and she as making this amazing bread. It is so simple (once you have the ingredients) and it is so yummy! I thought that I would give it a little plug here (sorry if you saw it on my facebook, too :]). Plus, it is a friend of mine from High School! You can follow the link that is in the title or she also has a blog, http://howtomakebread.blogspot.com/. I really like the idea of saving money by making bread and rolls at home, but it is such a chore to do it. This seems to be simple and like something that I can actually do! I guess you can make it in one hour, or less.

She has an instructional DVD to give you ideas and tips...and it is only $20. I haven't bought it yet...I am waiting for payday, ;). I am really excited to try it, though. She uses stuff that can be stored for long periods of time, so you always have ingredients on hand. I guess that you can make white or wheat versions with your food storage. Normally, I have not had any success with bread making, so I am very excited about this. Well, I will let you know how it goes.

Thanks for the "plug"! I have always been so intimidated about baking bread and rolls that I have never tried it. I have always wanted to though.

I think it's yeast. Yeast is just kinda weird, and kinda a weird word. Am I wrong?

Hey, I made bread the other day and it turned out terribly. . . again. So as I was cleaning up the huge mess I made (that's the worst part of making bread) I said to Cabe, "It takes a rocket scientist to make bread. I quit because I am obviously not smart enough to master this age-old art!!" So, if it works, let me know.
